Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) has issued a global tender for the construction of 400/220 kV substations under the African Development Fund (ADF), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and European Investment Bank (EIB)-funded Iringa-Shinyanga Backbone Transmission Investment Project (BITP).
