Massachusetts-based Edgartown Conservation Commission has refused to give a permit to Vineyard Wind, a 50-50 partnership between funds of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Avangrid Renewables (a subsidiary of AVANGRID Inc.), under the state’s Wetland Protection Act, to lay 220 kV cables under the Muskeget Channel to connect the company's upcoming wind power project to the grid.
