The UK's Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) has completed the Integrated Transmission Planning and Regulation (ITPR) project with announcement of plans to introduce greater competition in the onshore electricity transmission network, following the success of the Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) contracts.
