Ventyx, a subsidiary of ABB, has signed a USD6.5 million deal with Transelectric, the transmission arm of Ecuador's power generation company Corporación Eléctrica del Ecuador (Celec) and the country's National Energy Control Center (Cenac), to provide solutions to manage the Ecuadorian wholesale electricity market.
