As per the latest update available on Proyectos México or Mexico Project website of the federal government, the tender for awarding the build-own-operate (BOT) contract for the ±500 kV Ixtepec–Yautepec high voltage direct current (HVDC) project had been removed from the website on February 4, 2019, as is no longer an investment opportunity.
